Join us for an afternoon of artist-led workshops and conversations featuring artists from our current exhibitions: 2026 NSW Visual Arts Fellowship (Emerging), Jasmine Miikika Craciun, Light of a Clear Blue Morning and Maddison Gibbs, As Above, So Below.
Through hands-on making, material exploration and shared discussion, the forum creates opportunities for artists and audiences to exchange ideas, uncover the stories embedded within materials, and experience creative practice as a space for learning, connection and knowledge sharing.
Across the afternoon, connect with native plants from Country through a botanical mark-making workshop with Virginia Keft and Maddison Gibbs. Join Jasmine Miikika Craciun and Tia Madden to contribute to a collective stained glass-inspired installation. Concluding the program, Charles Levi and Amelia Skelton come together to share their insights on how materials carry memory, and how research shapes creative practice.
All programs are free, with registration required for each session as places are limited. People of all ages and abilities are welcome, with children under 12 to be accompanied by an adult. If you require additional access support, please contact artspace@artspace.org.au.

Maddison Gibbs, As Above, So Below was co-commissioned by Artspace and Bathurst Regional Art Gallery as part of an ongoing institutional partnership supporting the development, presentation and visibility of regional NSW artists.
