Overview
Chantal Fraser is a Brisbane-based multimedia artist whose practice explores ornamentation and cultural adornment as an aesthetic resolution to identity and individuality.
For this Ideas Platform project, she invites audiences to take part in a mass act of artistic, social and internal penance, drawing on the Samoan ritual tradition of ifoga: a ceremonial practice of forgiveness.
