First Nations Fashion + Design: Reclamation Runway
Artspace is proud to co-present FNFD Runway: Reclamation, a bold First Nations–led runway event emphasising cultural significance beyond fashion, weaving together rich Indigenous heritage with contemporary artistry.

Marking the National First Nations Fashion + Design (FNFD) program’s first return to Sydney in four years, Reclamation is a dynamic evening bringing together wearables, textile art, dance and performance into powerful dialogue celebrating culture, Community, creativity and storytelling.

Featuring six First Nations designers – including Grace Lillian Lee, KingKing, MumRed and Merrepen Arts – alongside 24 Indigenous models and Blak back-of-house leadership, the experience platforms the people shaping the future of First Nations fashion. Reclamation includes exclusive costume works from Grace Lillian Lee’s collaboration for Flora, recently presented by The Australian Ballet in partnership with Bangarra Dance Theatre.
