Amelia Skelton

Amelia Skelton is a multidisciplinary artist working across installation, sculpture, textiles and image-making. Her practice is grounded in a methodology of working slowly and critically through material culture. She is interested in the things we choose to keep, collect, and throw away. Skelton’s practice sits with the multiplicity of these objects, interrogating their abundance, familiarity and significance, exploring how our things can aid us in understanding aspects of the world.

Skelton’s recent exhibitions include A Thousand Attics, Nasha Gallery, Sydney (2025), Everything is sacred, BLINDSIDE, Melbourne (2024), and Some things last a long time,

Nasha Gallery, Sydney (2023), and Missing Futures Inbox (2020), Gasamrojieul, Seoul. Skelton undertook residencies at World of Co., Sofia, Bulgaria (2019), and Lottozero, Prato, Italy (2025).
