Overview

Artspace, in partnership with Printed Matter, Inc., New York and Perimeter Books, Melbourne, presents VOLUME 2017 | Another Art Book Fair. The second edition of this biennial event will take place from 13 – 15 October at Artspace.

In less than two months we will welcome over 70 exhibitors from across Australia and the world, including Amsterdam, Hong Kong, South Korea, Colombia, France and the United States. In addition to an international line up of publishers, artists, collectives, galleries and distributors, there will be a free program of talks, artist-led workshops, book launches, readings and performances. 

VOLUME 2017 will also see the return of the popular Book Machine, taking place from 10 – 15 October. Organised by onestar press, Paris and powered by Artspace, BOOK MACHINE (Sydney) II will team up public participants of all backgrounds and experience with emerging designers from Sydney’s best art and design schools to create their own publications. Over 200 artist books will be generated over the course of the free five-day public program.
