Overview
Elastic Boundaries was a film installation of a young girl tumbling rhythmically through time and space drawing the viewer into a state of reverie. A seven-year gap exists between activities, showing a continuation of the affirmation of play but subtly marking a shift between unselfconsciousness and adolescent self-awareness. This was amplified in the third film by the performative element with dress-ups.
