Pulling strings: peripherals involves the use of strings attached to the performer's arms and legs to control two sprays of ink which will be marking the two walls to the left and right hand sides.

Overview

Pulling strings: peripherals involves the use of strings attached to the performer's arms and legs to control two sprays of ink which will be marking the two walls to the left and right hand sides. Two cameras will be placed directly above the walls on which the marks will be made. These cameras will be focussed on the marks being made on the opposite wall. A direct feed will be taken from each of these two cameras into two separate video projectors which will project the images being captured by the cameras onto the wall behind. Two convex mirrors will be placed in front of the performer allowing him to see the projections behind him, the spray guns to his sides, and the viewers entering and leaving the space.
